I am another 30-something with stuff to say that you may or may not be interested in hearing. But you know what? I feel like talking. …er, make that typing. I live in the Northern Virginia region of the Washington D.C. metro area with a cat that I’m pretty sure used to be a dog. I was born and raised in San Diego and drive a slightly beaten up truck that was originally built for sale in southern California which make driving in Mid-Atlantic winters rather harrowing at times.
If you ever misplace me check the local Barnes and Nobles and Buffalo Wild Wings. If I’m not at either of those places, I’ve probably found water to play in or woods to climb through. I’m the type of person that if you want to hang out with me, you have to be interested in actually doing something. Generally not shopping, though; there are very few people with whom I will enter a mall.
I am forever on the hunt for a bigger, better, brighter future in one way or another, whether it be for me personally, for a loved one, or for the world in general. I workout, pick up trash, donate blood, and think everyone should do something for another person at least once a week. I also advocate for Geek Awesomeness Awareness. Seriously. Geeks are fantastic. We’re fun and adventurous, and face it, we’re pretty much in charge everywhere. You might as well join us.
